The DCI: Last Alliance team is proud to present to you the

Settlement sample preview part 2

These are a part of the images from the second preview.
For full resolution, click on the images.

~~~~ Elven Castles ~~~~
The three Elven factions put their Elvish stamp on some different castle levels (here you see the Stone castle level).
~~~~ Eryn Galen ~~~~

All settlements have their own wood-elven touch. (various examples)

~~~~ Númenóreans ~~~~
Some have had a bit of work done since the last preview.
Minas Ithil has only recently been captured by Mordor; some of its buildings and trees still remain.
Angrenost's Orthanc is now darker and a fetching symbol on the front gate reminds all who built this fine abode.
~~~~ Custom Tiles ~~~~

Not settlements, just interesting places to get some fighting done.
Arkay has kindly donated his Amon Hen and Undertowers ("White Towers").

Amon Hen's surrounding architecture has been repaired - this is a new place in DCILA times:

On the campaign map the tallest White Tower is now a watchtower.

The river crossing at The Carrock (either bank) now has a Carrock.

~~~~ Credits ~~~~
Withwwnar for Elven settlement improvments, Angrenost update and the Carrock.
Thanks to Arkay for his custom tiles. And xHolyCrusader who repaired Amon Hen and did the Minas Ithil buildings.
Hi!
Well, according to my optimism, that proved as reliable as the battle morale of a snaga, we would had a beta out in 2014, the game out last summer and then again expected this summer, haha.
However, I tend to underestimate the time things take to finish, but even more I underestimate the brilliant co-workers I have. ;)
For example, the faction Wild Men of Enedwaith was as late as spring supposed to be a rehash of existing unit models. "Oh no" said Earl of Memory who make our models, and by August he hopes to be done with the roster, meaning it get all brand, new soldiers.
Further more, there are more settlements worked on to be previewed in a while, and then we have to polish a bunch of general content up.
Optimist as always (guess one must an optimist be to pull of a four year project), I hope this year still. We are getting damn, damn close. But one should never promise, and one can never tell hehe.
That's why DaC's leader always answer the meaningless "7" on the release date-question, and why folks back in the days when all waited for TATW 3.0 replied to the question of release date with this, haha: Youtube.com
Yeah i understand and tbh i prefer to wait and have a mod that i can play for many many time than a mod released now and play like once or twice, i appreciate your honesty, and dont feel the need to rush anything take your own time, because for what i've seen once this mod is released it will be a BOMB. You guys are doing an excellent work congratulations :)
ngugi you just put the bar up really high for yourself, since i hate most evil factions in nearly all games xD
Haha, I am usually of the same alignment, though as a dev' one can't be unfair to any side, if the game shall be fun.
Likewise, I dare to bet you will come to agree that what you will see will be great places to assail for the forces of good. Whether it is to wrench defiled fortifications from the claws of filthy Orcs, fighting at an ancient strongold of proud Mountain Men, or behold renown constructs while putting Black Númenóreans to the sword! ^_^
