Well it seems so very true, "Half-Life 2" supposedly went gold yesterday (as I expected). Many online sites (including GameSpot) have stated that it is indeed likely that the game has gone gold. No official word Yet.

hmm.. I also read on some other pages that it supposedly has gone gold. And I read the first official game review in PC Gamer 2 or 3 days ago.. sooo, I'm guessing that this is a good thing? :)
Well, if it wen't gold, shouldn't the preloaders have it available on Steam right now?
, no. valve can't release it until it is available for purchase from vivendi as per their contract. Also they can't release it without a game classification.
