ParadoxCasts! news

Sorry for the long stretch of no news, but consider this an announcement for how we're going to remedy these dry periods - the weekly (or more) ParadoxCast! Each week (or more) the team will have an hour-long (or so) live stream where you can watch as we work, and during these times we'll also be discussing all kinds of things - future plans for the mod, behind-the-scenes details on where our ideas come from, and questions from the fans if any are asked.

The livestream page can be found here. When we're podcasting, you can watch live from that page, but if we aren't you can always view the archives linked along the bottom. The first podcast took place a few days ago as sort of a test - a poor-quality mic was used and the framerate is low quality, but you can watch the creation of the Pumpjack turret and listen to the thought process behind all kinds of Paradox concepts. Only Sketch, Ferriswheel and Sketch's sister were involved but in the future we plan to get more team members on as "guest stars," so to speak.

The idea is to set this up as a regular thing, so you can tune in every week, same bat time, same bat channel. The time itself is still a work in progress since we'll all have changing schedules over the next short while, but for now we'll try to announce the next 'Cast with as much notice as possible.

In this case the notice is about 3 hours from the time of writing, and for that I apologize.

ParadoxCast #2 is taking place at around 8pm on Sunday, Jan 3rd 2010 (GMT -5), so be sure to tune in and watch Ferriswheel and Open_Sketchbook working on the mod! Future episodes will have better equipment and occasionally new speakers as well, so watch this Moddb page for more info!
