Hello, everyone. This is the first video of actual gameplay footage we have, so I decided I'd put it up for all of you to see. It shows some key features of our mod, such as new weapons, items, all sorts of things. It might not be the most exciting of videos, but since this is the old alpha anyway, you might as well, because it honestly doesn't matter.

In the next news update, I hope to have multiple demonstration videos from the old alpha for all the new features of the final mod, and though nothing is final, these features are important, and will or will not be included. Stay tuned.

It is in the future of the half-life universe and the Replicas might have might have changed a few things
Well, if you think about it, Half-Life universe is the real world universe, and how many firearms exist in this world? Just the weapons Gordon has doesn't mean those are the only weapons that exist. Take HL Opposing Force for example.
sounds are annoying, why hit so much high hz floor? footsteps, could use less gear noise and actual footsteps impact.

The replicas manufacture their own soldiers,weapons,equipment, and ammunition. With the combine defeated, the replicas salvaged and destroyed any remnants of combine technology to prevent uprisings. With only replicas weapons in circulation, you will not see combine weapons easily. And they are not reskins, they are entirely new weapons with new reload animations,firing animations, and iorn sites
Yeah, Joker used a test level for this. There were meant to be enemies and more to the mission itself.
The Boss was pathetic ****, yes. He glitched out when he was playing and I'm looking forward for making a MUCH better video instead of that crap.
The sounds are Metro-Cop footsteps sounds and maybe Joker just turned them up in the video.
In this video demonstration we were trying to get you to sound like you were a living, breathing Metro-Cop.
It was an atmosphere test. The level was on HL2DM and wasn't even complete to start with.
BTW, I didn't want to use the original HL2 Weapons because they weren't meant for Iron Sights. The models are unrealistic (the MP7 has an actual folded stock and does not have a 45 bullet clip or an 'invisible' grenade launcher), and the gameplay would be too similiar to the vanilla HL2.
It would also be boring, seeing the same HL2 Weapons in every Mod. I have already seen them enough and you can find them in many Mods, for example: Obsidian Conflict, Synergy, SMOD, GMOD 9, and pretty much most of the Mods out there of HL2.
looks good but lees jerk with iron sites would be a very good application.
Thanks for the advice, I just finished up the test level, expect a version 2 soon with more combat involved as well as a few new Replica 'Specials'. Specials describe the Elite units of the Replica Forces. They come in many varieties and are very versatile. Replica Assassins, for instance, are fast but weak while Replica Heavy Armors are slower, but cumbersome, and hold the 'big guns'.
Specials include the following: Replica Elite, Replica Assassin, and the Replica Heavy Armor just to name a few.
