Just to begin with, thank you all again for all the constant support and constructive criticism to make Mentality a better mod. At the same time, Mentality is at a bit of a stand still at the moment.
Here's Why!
Our art team recently completed the Advanced Diploma in Screen: Game Art so we're all qualified. At the same time we were applying for work. Both I, Paul Cherry, David Whittaker and Alex Colvin have all scored positions at 'Team Bondi' in Sydney. Of course a while back Gayan Ediriweera (one of our programmers) was employed by 'Krome Studios' here in Adelaide. Craig Eickhoff has also been accepted into the very prestigious online 'Animation Mentor' course.
The moral of this story really is that whilst we will do out best to not let this project die, we feel it will be something we will continue at a later date, purely due to a lot of us moving and separating and being too busy with the other things in life. On a fantastic note, we hope you can all see how this has been an extremely beneficial experience for us, as our hard work has really paid off. And we can encourage all you other teams to continue to strive for what you're aiming for, because if video games are your passion, why not make it a career choice.
We'll be back!
Regards,
Sam Williams
