After a cool 1st April news, it's time to get serious and to provide you with real stuffs!
About the mod progress, you'll be happy to know we are still making progress! We're now working on the linuw version (for servers). We're getting steadily closer to a first public release!
For those who missed the mod progress for the past few months, the first public version will contain 5 maps (sg2_temple, sg2_tollana, sg2_pilak, sg2_forest et sg2_sanctuary), 8 different player models (Oneill, Carter, Teal’c, Jackson, Jaffa, Horus guard, Anubis guard and Snake guard) as well as a dozen of weapons among which : p90, staff,Zat'Nik'Tel, TACs, TER...
To cheer up this news, here are screens for Temple, where you can see our TAC models (a kind of mini defensive turret) and GACs (goa'uld flash grenades)

The mod looks like its gonna be fantastic, i like the TAC's and GAC's lol lookin forward to playing it when its released. The SGC looks fantastic too.
By the Emperor not a Stargate mod which I have missed adding to my watched list. That shall have to be rectified right away.

Is the beta coming earlier,or in June?
We plan on releasing the first beta in June, but the schedule might be... how could I say it... tight. Well, wait & see! The SGTC2 devteam will do its best to offer you this beta on time.
We are as frustrated as you are by the absence of public Stargate based mod on HL2 => we really want to make this mod public. :P
