While our Version 3.0 build slowly moves towards a stable state suitable for release, we're happy to announce the release of a new balance update right here, right now. Several player concerns and fan feedback will be addressed in this new release, which was put together by community member and moderator Pyryle along with the help of our dedicated internal test team.
You can download Red Alert: A Path Beyond v. 188.8.131.52 using the BHP Launcher application, which also provides automated updates and will allow you to patch your game client if you already have a previous version installed, in addition to providing a convenient server browser. It will also make it easy to download Tiberian Sun: Reborn, another project we work on (TSR v. 184.108.40.206 dropped last month).
Full version information is available at our website, but notable changes include:
Please give it a try and send us your feedback.
Our main website has also been updated thanks to work by Catalyst and One Winged Angel, with an improved server status overview, and convenient links to our sites and services such as our Teamspeak 3 server, Facebook and Twitter accounts, plus an integrated IRC chat app that will allow you to hop on easily without the need to get a dedicated client. Stop by and say hello!
Please note that over the next week, some services may experience some downtime as we migrate to new hardware and continue the upgrade process.
