The Mod Database is at best a bloody confusing site. There are links everywhere, tons of games, mods, members, tutorials and features scattered all over the joint. Even menu's disappear on occasions so to help out and ease the tension, we've slotted in a blue search button up top. You can't miss it, and it'll always be up there!
This button should help you quickly find what you are looking for! The main search is powered by google.... since google is so damn accurate and since we cannot be bothered coding in a search function to our site! You can however directly and quickly search the mod, game, members & news listings so you shouldn't get lost again!

Works well Scott, a lot easier to go to somewhere you want faster (ie. no need to click on members, then change the search criteria). Quick and easy
Me likes it! It's purplish hue is very entrancing. I caught myself staring at it for quite some time. Though it doesn't match the tabs before it, I really think it's a brilliant addition, and its differing color scheme is just obvious enough to make it stand out so that it's easy to find, while not getting obnoxious.
It's the simple things like that that makes modDB the best online resource for modding.

I agree. I don't like the color either. Perhaps it's just to get people's attention for now, but later on, I'd rather the colors changed like the rest of the tabs.
