Are you gonna use that script or whatever it is where the ships move around while in combat? It's just silly and not immersive at all when they all just stand in one place, doesn't have that epic "Star Wars space battle" feel...

That's just the "corvette" movement class. 99% of ships won't use it, because Star Wars ships tended to stay where they were supposed to be and only move when it was tactically required, not fly around in loops like that except smaller craft (fighters, Millenium Falcon), just look at Coruscant and Endor in the movies. Only stuff like the Lancer/CR90 would be in consideration for it.

If you want your ships to move around during combat, you can micromanage their movement yourself. Be aware that their combat performance may suffer accordingly, as their movement might mask their targets from their main batteries.

this looks like outstanding work. It's a shame you didn't have it out early december. You would have won an award for sure. (Frankly the professional quality of this outshines any of the other Star Wars mods, and I should know... I've modded each of these star wars mods myself to death). I also think that the way you've managed fighters is definitely better than ANY other mod I've played for Sins. (It also happens to cut down on lag, by making those fighters have limited numbers rather than almost eternally replenished)

If I had to ask for anything, it would be things akin to the 4x mod, hero units + special planets. I'm one of those weirdos that likes to capture Kuat and build SSDs.

I like the idea that Interregnum has with Kuat/Mon Cal. I'd just take it farther myself, i.e. I'd have a variety of SSD's hero stations scattered around the map. (at least for addon/custom map purposes).
