Post news Report RSS New Platform - Web

A brand new platform to add your projects to has now been added to IndieDB.

Posted by on

Just a quick note here for the developers, we have just added The WEB to our platform list which should cover games made specifically for the browser (i.e. Facebook Games, Online Games, Java Games, Unity Player Games etc). You are free to make any alterations to your existing profiles and attach them to the new platform, which should make it much easier to find your game and get people playing.

If you feel we are missing any important platforms then let us know either by posting a comment below or sending some sort of message via the Internet. Happy developing!

Oh yes, it does show up now. :-) Maybe FF didn't update temp files when refreshed the first time. ;-)

Mac is also PC, you see the dilemma we have here.
PC is a word use to define more then a single entity, but it primarily defines the usage/environment setup of a computer.

Therefore I propose that all common operating systems are listed under the personal computer platform, and then, listed under that operating systems name, is all the different variations of that system.

Example: PC->Windows->Windows XP, PC->Linux->Ubuntu etc...

Released Jan 1 1990

I think the year is correct since I recall the World Wide Web starting around my year of birth, but I'm not sure :P

Yeah the year is correct, but as for the other dates I am not sure. So for the sake of having a date I always use 01.01
