This week I introduce a new faction of rabbits that will be appearing in Overgrowth (which you can preorder here), and add a few more pieces to the previous "hex" set of crete I was working on.

Be sure to watch it in HD!

Sorry about skipping the video last week. While David, Jeff and John have been at GDC, I don't have that excuse. Instead, I just thought that the assets I made last week were not interesting enough to warrant their own video. Next week should be pretty exciting with more character art and equipment!

Oh my god. RACIST NINJA RABBITS! (That wasn't random. Search "Klu Klux Klan", if you don't know what I'm talking about.) Great drawing. You and NS2 have awesome drawing skills.

The hex crete monolith set is filling out nicely. Might I suggest a couple pilliar types where one edge of the hexagonal prism is damaged. Maybe one damaged in the middle, and another damaged at a corner and running down the vertical edge.

awesome new stuff! love how the ears are moving in mid-air while jumping around. also the new concepts are outstanding, love the ideas of how they wear cloths and make themselfs unique looking as tribes.

only thing i would change is the position of the arms right after leaping off... seems kinda not finished compared to the other animations of the rabbit. the are like outstretched and sticky to the body, till a certain time.

The high priest should have a more angular motif to the lower cloak, to become more fitting with the pointy hat.. imo.

It's just a matter of taste. ;-) Or, in this case, of hearing. :-)

I hate whenever i paint a concept and after im done i realize it has a blaring resemblance to something else, for example i was drawing an orc armor set and the helmet was identical to a storm trooper helmet so I had to scrap the entire thing.
I guess an easy way to ease the resemblance of a KKK member would be to add a tiny visor that protrudes from under the hood and maybe add some sort of hard material within the hood giving the impression that he is wearing a helmet.
On a side note, i love the way you make these seemingly man-made pillars look like a natural rock formation.
very inspiring, keep it up aubrey.

Most excellent work. I'm a recent graduate from Westwood College, Online Campus, and if you would like to have another 3D animator, I'm available. You can review my work at:

If not, no worries. I love the whole concept. I look forward to playing this game.
