Worldportals.

From saving memory in deadly traps to developing testing elements.

Areaportals.

They are fun to start, but it's hard to develop really challenging chambers with them, without making it too complex

Althrough you're not the first ones to do this, you've made it in the best way.
I saw this in Portal: Prelude the first time. However, while objects were affected, the player wasn't. Thanks to the new engines-features (worldportals), it now works.
