After completing RSM which has nearly 500 downloads already! I am getting keen to create another SP map for Cod2 I have a few ideas but surely the community can throw in a few of their own in.
Ideas:
- A continuation of 'Red Square Massacre' following the final push for Moscow.
- A desert mission following either the British or German forces.
- A western front mission following a significant battle there.
- A training or spec ops type mission for cod2.
Style:
- Epic battlefields?
- Small skirmish battles?
- Fair opposition?
- Classic cod run and gun?
- Anything featured from my previous missions?
Will the community be willing to support another cod2 mission for 2012? or has this game became stale?

I think you should do a spec ops type of mission. Maybe Americans or Brits against Germans. I will be thinking about it and then i'll add more details.
How about World war 1? massive infantry charges, trench raids..
If you read any of Sven Hassel's books, there might be some material to find.
Also, is the new SP map strictly '40s?

I think that it should be from the German side once again, because there are already too many missions from the allied side. A continuation of Red Square Massacre would be nice, why not to set it again in Stalingrad, but with more tanks and some heavy battles? If you could add the T34, that would be epic. Or, for example, the crossing of the Volga wou; you should stop the Russians in the red square. Or recapture the city hall, etc. Or what about Kursk?
Anyway, there are a lot of good ideas for another good mission. Im suggesting you only ideas concerning the eastern Front, because it's my favourite one, but any new sp mission in any front would be nice.

La Fiere Causeway maybe? After playing that through in CoH:ToV I've always thought that could end up as a great CoD mission...
I have an idea quite a long in my head. It is something between Vassili Tzaisev's idea and JyrX's idea.
You probably know that Germany had a lot of high technologies in development at the end of the war. And all major Allied sides (Russians, Americans, British) wanted to steal as much as possible from German technology. There were several Western Allied raids on Russian occupation zone in order to keep Russian hands off those technologies.
I think this is an awesome concept for a mission from German perspective - you are a German guard (for example Waffen SS) at outskirts of a highly secured German research factory when Russian troops attack it. You must fight your way for your life through them to the West. Then, in the factory's heart you encounter a group of German scientists and some random German soldiers who ask you for help with transporting a new technology to Americans (for example our B2F model for Vampir infrared scope :-) You then must fight both Russian and American troops until you meet with undercover American officer at an arranged place.

I was thinking about something on the line of that but not on the lines of a massive battle, but a more close quarter battle featuring yet again traditional combat based off the style of the old Medal of Honor series on the PSX and some unique environments.
