While ca_desert (the name still isn't finished) is on hold until we get a programmer, I started working on a city map. So far, I have finished two buildings: a bus-stop, and the Quick Stop.
The Quick Stop is a reference to the Jay and Silent Bob films, and was requested by our animator, brandonsh. I based it off of this image:

The custom decals and textures were all made by brandonsh himself. The posters are based on real ones, and you can buy the Nails one here: Viewaskewmerch.com
We don't get any money from that and it's not linked to us at all, but it could work as a souvenir.
The map will feature enterable houses, a playground, and anything else that I can think of.

detail wise their is so much more you can do to this, was dissapointing to see end result and seems more like a work in progress
This isn't actually the end result, by release it will definitely be more polished. Remember this is only a small part of the town, this map should be one of the larger ones.

anyway "quick groceries stop" looks to plain and generic, add some sort of dirty parts on it or some waves
We don't need to add anything, we're sure it will be splattered with blood by the time you get near it with all those zombies!
Some decals might be added, I don't know though, you're better off asking TCB about that one.
Decals have been added recently. They include stains and blood splatters.
The sign looks so pristine, and that isn't a good thing.
