Hey. So, here's another development log video for Sparky. This one shows a bit of the BGM, as well as the implemented GUI and better art.
So far, I've been just working on this one simple level that pretty much will just be testing out everything - I might include it in the released game, but I'll probably put more thought into the other levels. In fact, once I've got enough elements, I'll probably redo this one to make it have a real flow about it, and be themed (not just with every element in the game). :)
Anyway, thanks for watching this! I appreciate it.
Looks fun as hell.
What's wrong with the sound?
OpenAL (sound library) doesn't like my external audio device. It should work fine on normal audio setups. This isn't an issue with Blender - it happens with other cross-platform programs to me, as well. :P
Really good looking.
Question: Do you think you're able to have source lights and that they'd be dynamic? Kinda like on Super Meat Boy, light sources give a small angle to objects, same goes for shadows.
Not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean like ray-cast (kind of?) shadows?
err, idk the name, best would be really give a try on the game and/or watch some videos of it (like on official trailer around 1min).
It really gives an awesome effect.
I just watched the trailer - I think I see what you mean. I don't think it would be too difficult to do, so maybe I'll try that out... Thanks for the suggestion.
That's sweet!
Can't wait to see your next update.
Good luck ^^
looking very cool - tracking!
Take my money!!
Heheh, now that's what I like to hear!
