Hi everyone,
The wait is over, Beta 4 is now available for download!
The download contains a single installer which will do all that is needed to install the mod on top of your vanilla game, please note that this is still a beta version so it is not complete and many aspects still need work/balancing and attention.
Screenshots removed to due a bizarre compulsion of people to think these represented the world map at the beginning of the mod.
Beta 4 is an ambitious update for Hearts of Iron 3 and this mod is currently the only mod to bring you a whole new map to play on, don't forget to report any issues you encounter either with the mod or the installer on the forums
That is all for now, beta 5 will be an even more exciting update for Modern Warfare so there is still a lot to look for.

Is it possible to form European Union or it is available with the new game?
Not yet.
I mean when we start the game we find the european countries or one country (european union)?
There's an almost microscopic province in Belgium that's the EU. Select that to play as it.
There is also one in New York: UN

Nice mod, but I feel like it is almost impossible to play as a Communist country (China, NK, Vietnam). A lot of the laws require you to be Democracy, and in which makes it really hard to raise National Unity. Nevertheless, lowers your Popular party which can get annoying.
I was also flipping through the countries, and I know this is only Beta, but China has terrible IC. For the Number 1 biggest military, it's nearly impossible to make a military with the IC you provided them. I can barely build 2 products at a time.
Hopefully in Beta 5 to will fix some countries IC?

There's nothing to "correct". This is just a projection of how a future EU in the mod could look like, if you play the mod you will see the map doesn't look like that at all.
Also, the game starts at 2000 and the latest bookmark is now at 2011 so its way before Russia annexed Crimea.
As for Belarus... if you ask me its just a matter of time.

You fool, Crimea did not belong to Russia in year 2000, if mod has starting date in 2014 or 2015 it might be part of Russia, but not in 2000.
Or should we just include Poland as part of Germany becouse it was part of their nation in 1940s? It would be delusional not to. ..

You need base HOI3 + Their Finest Hour to play the mod.
So this takes place in some perfect, americanized parallel universe where the EU has become the united states of europe (involving countries that don't want to touch the EU even with a pair of tongs), and where the korean war never happend? I don't get this at all. Sure, I would like to play HoI in modern times but then I want accuracy - not some thought-up, bother-free world with gimped socialist/communist countries.

This mod looks amazing re downloading my HOI3 to try this lol XD ...so i haven't played the mod yet and so i was wondering .... this is only 2000 but any chance the Soviet Union could resurface cause i know Putin has dreams of bringing back the Soviet Union and also plans on making Eurasia ...(idk if this is true just what i heard)and i think it would be awesome to play as Russia and bring back SU to conquer the world allied with China.
Also i have some experience with coding and such and also have modded V2 and EU3+4 and HOI2 and if you needed any extra hands ;/
