We've been hounded by many a person to provide some decent RSS feeds so others can syndicate our mod news, files, features, tutorials etc... A few months later and such feeds are finally available!

For Mod Teams:
You now have a dedicated RSS news feed which can be found in your mods profile. Using this you can make Mod DB your CMS and share this news with others / on your own site easy as pie.

For Site Owners:
We now have game specific news feeds which can be found in all game profiles. Syndicate this news, or any of the feeds listed below. In addition we have a dynamic queryable mod feed. Get information about any mod listed, including screenshots, about etc to display on your site. Let Mod DB do the hard-yakka and you could make something sweet like the BeyondUnreal team have. If you are interested get in touch as we can customise our feeds to suit your application / sites requirements.

For Everyone Else:
Get access to the latest news, files, features, tutorials via any of the links available below! Enjoy mod goodness 24/7.

Full details about these RSS feeds can be found on this page. In addition we have a new v3 themed link image. Whack it on your site and support the Mod DB! Oh and we've also just partnered up with another file mirroring company Planet Mirror - make them welcome, download some files.

images from the news posts. If you've ever been to live.com, it puts together all your RSS feeds on one page. it looks nice with images. I mean, headlines are great, but here's an example of what it could do, using an example from the point of existence newspost.

<img border="0" align="right" src="https://media.moddb.com/legacy/images/mods/54/5453/link.gif" alt="" />In last week's news post we mentioned that we won't be making changes to the player models for our first beta to the public. Spitfire has been very busy this week and has been able to create new skins on the BF:2 MEC soldier models to represent the Ukraine team. <a href="https://www.moddb.com/news/point-of-existence2-news-59/>Read more...</a>

hmm, all the names are the same, any chance you could change that?

and make something like a feed that just shows our personal modwatch updates? wouldn't even be more queries really, and you could just make it as simple as modwatch.xml?userid=22005 or somesuch.

I am the person responsible for the implementation of the moddb.com feed on beyondunreal and I'd be more then happy to help any aspiring developers make use of this awesome feature moddb.com is providing. My e-mail is zenny@beyondunreal.com and if you run into any trouble with the feed or have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

It took me about a week's worth of solid work to write a basic PHP class that parses the feeds for each game so if anyone is looking for an example on how to do that, I'd especially love to save someone else some time!
