Hey everyone
I've had an incredibly busy few weeks. Fortunatly for me I'm going skiing next week. Sadly for the mod that means not much has been done, or will get done for a while.
So what IS happening? I'm currently working on a design document. I had hoped to have it ready to post but it's not much to look at right now. When it's done it will give an overview of all the ideas I have for this new game. I'll make it public so everyone can see and give their input and ideas.
The roadmap for the next few weeks is to get the overall design solidified and then start working on a demo map that will allow us to playtest the core gameplay concepts. I'm hoping to have it public around April. It will be very basic and probably still using Starcraft assets but, as nice as theory is, playtesting is when we can really see if there's any merit in these ideas.
Anyway, sorry it's such a lackluster update but hopefully that brings everyone up to speed on where things are at and why it's all a bit delayed right now.
