Do me a favor and stop going to every image and news piece and talk about which mod does all that and more and how you should just use that instead. We get it, there are better mods, will you stop spamming every page about them please.

Indeed, mods shouldn't be needed at all. However they can provide some more fun, the game stand-alone should do.

I know that Mods such as Redpower, FTB and such is cool, but these updates is mostly important to those who make projects such as adventure maps and other creations. My explanation is, that every minecrafter that doesn't use mods has the ability to improvise their new Minecraft experiences.

I know mods exist which do a lot of this stuff already, but there's nothing like having the feeling of getting the content in the vanilla game!
