We are thrilled to announce that MineCon attendees will have the opportunity to play Minecraft on Xbox 360 months before the public release!
Minecraft for Xbox 360 is currently in heavy development and we are very happy with the progress. Daniel is working tightly with the 4J team to coordinate Notch’s design decisions. We want to keep the core experience of the original PC version intact, while ensuring the game fits its new platform.
We are also excited that Microsoft joins us at MineCon as the main sponsor for the convention. Microsoft will participate in the preview of the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft and will also be showing off some cool stuff in the exhibition area of the event. It's going to be a great celebration of everything Minecraft.
When the Alpha buyers will recieve their promised Xbox 360 version of Minecraft for free? :D

they're saying this is a port, and we were legally allowed to have all expansions free.

bad, I know, but look on the bright side. you have the PC version. which is 1000% better than any Xbox port/ripoff ;P

Anyway, @Kizzycocoa: the Alpha buyers are allowed to have every future VERSION of minecraft for free, so since this is an xbox 360 version we must recieve it for free. ;)

To me this seems like... somebody is in need of more money...
