First, I began to rework the gate (This is just a preview, this not finish):
I began to work on new buildings models:
I also decided to remake the SignalFire, now it is higher in the city:
I decide to completely remake the mountains behind the city.
I also reworked the top (I don't put the ground textures for the moment)
I made new element model to be added to the basic wall.
Minas Tirith own in total 5 doors:
The main gate which is the stronger, and 4 others doors which protect the others levels.
For the balance of the game some levels have no door to protect them, like that the ennemy can reduce the plots control of the defender.
The defender will have in total 21 plots to construct buildings:
Level1 = 8 plots
Level2 = 6 plots
Level3 = 3 plots
Level4 = 2 plots
Level5 = 2 plots
It will also have two castle keep like in the old version of this map.
The first is placed in the second level which will allow to rapidly send heroes on the battlefield at the start of the game.
The second is the last building than the ennemy will have to destroy, he is placed to the top of the city and he is protected by a door.

I also decided to post some pictures of the narrow streets of the city.
I made some buildings models to put on the wall of the city cause I doesn't like the old vanilla models.
I also made new model for trebuchet like that I can win space in the streets of the city.

Like the map own a lot of gondor decorative buildings, I decided to retexturized they GondorHouse owned by the player (I will make that in all my gondor fortress maps).
I placed civils and soldiers in the city to give life to the streets.
I decided to put some of them on the balconies. (The players can't select the soldiersn they will automatic attack the ennemie nearby units).
I also set the number of players. Now the map is for 5 players max.
This map will offer some possibilities:
- If you want to play with the special factions:
Player1 = Gondor (Extended Faction)
Player2 = Closed (You can select another mordor if you like the very difficult games xD)
Player3 = Mordor (Extended facion)
Player4 = Mordor (Extended Faction)
Player5 = Mordor (Extended Faction)
- If you want to play with friends:
Player1 = Gondor (Extended Faction)
Player2 = Rohan (The player2 is positioned very close to the city the player1 must directly send troop and economy to his friend to keep it alive)
Player3 = Mordor (Extended Faction)
Player4 = Mordor (Extended Faction)
Player5 = Mordor (Extended Faction)
- If you want to play with the other factions you can organize your game like you want (with all the factions, the team and other things of your choice).
I finished the map_pic.tga (all the map's pictures will be released like that now).
I improved the throne room of Minas Tirith:
I created a new statue model for the entry of the city based on the movie statue.
I made new fountain model for the top of the city. You can also look the two statue imported to LotR RotK game.
Today I want to show the work of ThorinTheKing on the Trebuchet model for the walls of the City (this is just a preview the model is still in work):

Yes the gondor will have a new building which allow to recruit new units and also I will make a special thing for the spell book ;)
To avoid the camera bug I think the map will have only 5 levels.

A few questions:
First of all, the map is utterly brilliant. I played an older version and had a remarkable amount of fun with it. However, is there any way you could make the camera movement a little more comfortable? The city is so big that the BFME camera system has a hard time navigating around it. Then again, tbh, I'd rather have the full city and a bad camera than a "cutting-floor" city with a good one.
Secondly, any possibility of adding scripts so that the Mordor AI might cook up some siege towers, maybe even Grond?

I work actually on the mordor siege tower because like you know the size of the wall is changed in this map ;)
For the camera system I try alctually to fix the last bug but I think this is impossible (the map is too big).
However I limited the camera bugs and there is only one for the moment.
Thank you. With that said, congratulations. This is the most faithful playable reproduction of the City of Kings I've ever seen in a game. TBH, I've been waiting for this ever since the first BFME came out.

Concerning Minas Tirith this is the first map than I made with worldbuilder, It was always been a challenge to release this map with the limited capaity than offer worldbuilder.
I improved a lot the city since now two years especially thanks to the submod concept which offer me the possibility to make my owns models.
I worked a lot of time trying to make the seven levels conserving the high proportions of the city because a lot of costume map of Minas Tirth than I tried are flat and that debases the elegence of this city and transform them to a sort of cake too flat xD.

No, I just didn't edit the commandset of the wall but when you buy trebuchet, the archers can move on his platform.

do the reinforcement have a time limit or are they stay in the map ? (especially Mordor)
I can't give definitive answer for the moment I must first test the map to examine the balance of the game.But I think they will have limit time because I don't want than the enemy make a mumakils army for example because if I want keep the strategic dimension on this map all spells must be used to respond to another. The lifetime of all the units convoqued will be extended.
(The heroes will rest permanently on the battlefield except Imrahil)
Are you planning on retexturing the walls between levels? Right now it looks a little weird, especially in contrast with the nice front walls. Other than that, the progress looks amazing.

Nice Trebuchet entirely made of wood, Do you have increased their weakness against fire ?
No it will have the same setting than the old trebuchet.
But maybe If this need not too much work we will work on a second type of trebuchet for the walls with some bonus. If this is right, we will give a the informations on it later (in the same time than we post the model preview.
