On the evening of Dec. 23, 2011 in the riverside Reading Café, Xiamen Mechanist Games held its first multi-cultural Annual Meeting & Christmas Party. It was a party to celebrate the upcoming holiday as well as to commemorate the historical breakthroughs we’ve made over our first inaugural year 2011.

The festive mood hit its peak when the “Santa Clauses”, David Lindsay and Joey Zhang started giving away stockings full of delicious gifts with personalized handwritten Christmas cards.

Vanessa Lu, the Admin Director, gave a brief and touching presentation on the origins of Mechanist Games. It was inspiring and deeply moving. We’re proud that we’ve chosen to be an indie developer espousing passion, aspiration and innovation. We hope we can keep this spirit, that led us into this audacious start-up, alive as we grow and develop more games.

Best regards to all the Mechanist Games staff, for the efforts you’ve put into work and for the outstanding contribution you’ve made to the company’s smooth growth and development! Trophies with modest cash bonuses were given out at the party to express Mechanist Games’ gratitude to all.

A hilarious Xiao Pin (short play) named New Journey to the West was put together by the concept art department and presented at the party. Cheers and laughter could be heard throughout the play. Good job!

We may be small, but we are growing fast. We are dynamic and passionate and have dreams. If you are as ambitious as we are and eager to make your mark in the game industry, come and join us! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
