Lifeguard Jockey (Special Infected Re-skin)
The third SI re-skin is ready to download! The Lifeguard Jockey has a number of changes and is in-keeping with our Beach theme, he might also be a little easier to spot now too! You can check out some images of the Lifeguard Jockey in our gallery and watch a video update below.
You can download the Lifeguard Jockey from our L4Dmaps page here or from our moddb downloads page. It should hopefully be authorised on moddb by the 20th April.
We have been producing these skins at a much faster rate than expected, I believe we can have them all done in about 2 -3 weeks. At that point I'll compile them into one large VPK for ease of use. The next SI skin is the Beach Bum Hunter, we should have that finished and ready to download early next week.
Voice Acting: Ryuji Re-cast and current progress
We have filled all current VA positions except Ryuji whom we are now re-casting as an American. His overall character, personality etc. has barely changed, just the voice. I've posted the latest update regarding this VA position on the Moddb forum which you can view here
There is currently no set deadline for Ryuji auditions, once I start receiving them I can set a date.
Our VA's for Kelly and Jay are recording the first batch of dialogue with a focus on completing the radial audio first. The secondary characters will start recording next week, I'll be uploading samples of them to give you all a sense of who these characters are.
The biggest challenge for me regarding VA work is writing all the dialogue, each Survivors has hundreds of lines each! I think those of you who do play Life's a Beach will very much enjoy the amount of new content we are creating for it.

Because we are doing a re-skin we can't make major changes to the SI like removing and changing clothes. I can tell you the witch will be in a bikini I hope that is good enough!
I was wondering if maybe you guys would consider making a custom jukebox? And by this i mean not a re-skin or anything, but some more beach vibe music, such as The Drifters "Under the Boardwalk".
We might be putting some of our custom music in a jukebox or two. Almost all of our music has a beach vibe, you can check them out in the video section.
