What is 'Let's Survive'?

We here at NMRiH felt that our loyal followers are left in the dark on development too often. So we decided to periodically record our play sessions on the latest development builds. That means these videos will contain content that has never been seen before by the public! Whenever there is a new map or say a new major feature that needs to be tested, we will record it!

Episode 1 - Toxteth

Episode 2 - Lakeside

Where is the Steam release?

On our end, we are ready to release. However, we are waiting on a legal issue to get resolved by Valve. Once it is resolved, a release date will be set that works for both us and Valve. Then we let you guys know with a spiffy new trailer! We're coming down to the wire and want to thank everyone for being so loyal and patient! NMRiH will always be 100% FREE.

nice video. also minor misc note, you would think the shovel would have some sort of jab attack to take advantage of the "pointed" edge. (you can decapitate things with a good shovel)

It's really hard to use an edge on a shovel with only upper body strength. That is why when digging you have to use your body weight and legs. Using the weight of the shovel to drive it as a blunt weapon is more efficient. :)

Those are combat shovels, much different than a common garden shovel. When we get maps that take place in eastern Europe, maybe then we'll add in that shovel.

doesn't really matter and small hand shovel will make a good jabbing weapon, combat shovels only have an advantage because people who own them generally sharpen them.

We the best! I love making these videos. Also, I have a really bizarre love affair with that Sledge.

12 pounds of "f*ck you" on a stick. Hard not to love.

Quick question, are you thinking of implementing other "practical" weapons, like weapons that also function as tools? I'd love to see the crowbar be used to force open doors and the like. Of course that means new animations and door systems, so it might be more work than it's worth.
Anyway, I'm loving how the game is coming along so far!

believe it or not but the crowbar, among other melee weapons, was designed to be a tool originally but it was never fully implemented. Just like the fire extinguisher.
