Congratulations on your release, I like a lot of things you've done. Would you mind explaining what particle engine/library you've used and what language/tools you've used to make this? This is a site for developers as well after all. We are interested.

We have not use any existing library for particle system. We have make our own library for the one.
The game is developed using C# and XNA framework.

they said in their article.
It was created in XNA, which i figured when they said "Arcade Game".
XNA is its own game engine with its own particle effects as well as free version of all the tools for someone/or a team who wants to create a game. Which the licensiing is sweet. Your free to distribute and make money royalty free if you want to use the pc platform. But you have to pay royaltys to use xbox360 arcade live distribution platform(for360).
Still a sweet deal, ill have to download the demo of this game and check it out.

XNA doesn't have a built in particle engine. Whatchyou talkin about willis? I would hardly call XNA an engine as well.

In any case I was more talking about the techniques they used while developing the game or something like a post-mortem.

I accidentally clicked "report article" instead of super bookmark :( sry.

This looks cool but it is allowed to be on Moddb? Its not really a mod, since its on its own engine and you have to pay for it... doesn't that sorta go against the nature that is moddb? Free mods? Not a bash just wondering cuz it seems like this is more an advertisement.

ModDB has been supporting "indie" games for a while now, that includes the not so free "indie" games.
