What does this have to do with MODS?
Absolutely nothing, you have to pay once again. Mass Effect 2 was a fantastic games but the DLCs, no matter how good they are, should be boycotted.

Not sure why people are getting their knickers in a twist over the way Mass Effect 2's dlc works. Whats all this **** about boycotting it?. Is it just because we're on PC and most DLC for PC is free?
Nobody is boycotting the FREE dlc's. Bliblix probably mentioned the ones that we have to pay for. You know, it's a bad feeling when you pay for a game and you don't even get the whole product.
I can tell you "why". All this DLC system is just a way of beating more money from fans and a big headache for gamers. Don't tell me "If you don't like it - bla-bla-bla - don't buy it". I agree (as well as thousands of others) to pay even much more for the game like this, but not to buy additional 5 mins quests. It is rather stupid situation. Maybe later we would have to buy separately "clean" game, sounds, music, videos, ingame items? It is the same as to buy a car and then in a while to buy rudder, seats, mirrors.
I don't know if you started with consoles or PCs, but the thing is this...getting more content for free after release is something we PC gamers took for granted for a reaaaaaally long time.
And after consoles got DLC you had to pay for that PC gamers got for free (i.e. Valve) we can't help but think it's the consoles' fault.

OMG!!!!! this is so ******* epic my mass effect 2 will get another dlc in my collection yay i cant wait actually this dlc is better than i thought.

Boycotting DLC is about as stupid as boycotting Left 4 Dead 2 and Battlefield: Bad Co.
i just downloaded the dlc. its really good
and there is some funny easter eggs and some potential spoilers after you complete it XDD
