It has been a day since the velociraptors broke out of their high-security pens from Medical Lab 2A. Security forces have been unable to control them, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of scientists and security guards. The scientists are becoming overly strained because of this situation. They have been becoming overbearing over how the security guards have been handling the situation.
With the increasingly pungent attitude of the scientists to the security guards, the guards suspect that the scientists are hiding something. There is something about these velociraptors that escaped that is greatly important. What ever it is, it is important enough to call for a Level 4 security breach.
The mental symptom among a majority of the island's velociraptor is increasing. The rate is comparable to a disease of some sort. The scientists seem to be overly concerned over this epidemic. They claim ignorance over the origin of this mental sickness, but the guards suspect otherwise.

Evolution II adds realistic weapons plus related features such as reloading, recoil, accuracy or ricochets. Most known bugs have been fixed, AI was tweaked. Detailed list of changes can be found here.
Jurassic Rage is an episodic first-person action shooter modification for Unreal Tournament 2004. We are undertaking the challenge to incorporate fun gameplay with a realistic world and an evolving storyline into one well-tested and balanced package released every 30 days. Finnaly some in-game weapons but still not enough for me to start mapping for it,
When you get some vehicles and change the HUD then ill look into it

Awesome. Awesome stuff. But I don't like how the weapons work. Can't you actually have clips instead of the ol' UT2k4 style?
I would love to see a vid of this, I wonder what the velociraptor looks like in action.
Oh, no no, not for the ut weapons. Just a more... polished(?) version of the realistic kinds.
The realistic ones do use clips, but there are no special animations nor HUD indicators. Reloading a partially empty clip doesn't waste ammo nor cause later partial reloads, the new clip will always be full if there's enough ammo. The weapons aren't final indeed, their feature list is implemented in about 25%.

i really like this, it has a great feel to it.
there are a few things i didnt like so much though.....
- The semi auto shotgun doesnt feel powerful at all since you can keep clicking and have the gun not jump around at all
- Iron sights are cool but you cant even walk while in the viewing mode =/ (zoom out a little less and make it so you can slowly walk around)

Recoil isn't cumulative yet and the gun automatically centers itself. Evo 3 might have a more advanced system.
You should be able to move around in iron sights mode while crouching or holding the Walk key, you may have to bind it first. Running (or attempting to run) disables iron sights immediately.
I like it, but I'm one of those ppl who has tons of complicated mods and just want to let you know--not to add pressure, but I'd like to have the T-Rex, etc for invasion so I can use my matrix moves and be my own model, you know what I mean? I have a Raptor addon for invasion, but i've always wanted to use my special weapons on a T-Rex as Link from Zelda lol. So if you could do that, it would be awesome, and it would surely get a 5/5 rating :D, so keep up the good work!!
Well, what I'm saying is, I just want The dinosaurs for invasion, not saying that the storyl ine of isn't cool, but it would be great addons for invasion...I'm one of those ppl who like shock rifles and stuff lol, I got ballistic weapons, Mr.Pants Excessive Overkill, and lots of other awesome mods that most likely would'nt work in the jurassic rage mod, so yeah. It's just a favor I'm asking, I mean I've always wanted to fight a T-Rex as Link with his allies, I have tons of custom models too lol, SEE SUPER MARIO FIGHTING A T-REX, that would be funny :D. so just try to do that at least, andyou don't have to add special mutators so I can use the weapons and vehicles, I got what it takes lol, so just do your best to make us all happy.
