Coders are no longer needed. Article remains, however
Progress on Office Complex has picked up, again. My hiatus has passed, and I've regained total motivation to work on it for extended periods of time. So much, in fact, that I'm pretty confident that I can have this sucker out by the time next summer rolls around. I have hit a little bump in the road, however.
It has been scientifically proven that the universe hates me, and as such, as one problem passes, another arises: we need a coder. More specifically, someone who can code NPCs (details upon joining), and someone who knows how to manually compile .qc and .smd files into models. So long as you can do a decent job, and can provide examples of your work, we'd likely be happy to accept your help.
And that's pretty much the bulk of it. Anyone willing to help can contact me through ModDB or Steam. I should also mention, you don't have to treat it like you're getting paid and are working for a company, because you're not. We're not professionals, you don't have to be. In the meantime, here's a couple screenshots, one new, one updated from an old one.
So that's this update. Hope you like what you've seen so far. Office Complex is coming along great, and if all goes well, you'll have your hands on it in under a year. In case you couldn't, tell I stopped doing the weekly blog update thing, due to lack of anything to post about. Anyway, see you guys next update. Work harder, not smarter.
Sorry, I would love to help but I am a mapper not a coder :/
Aren't you already mapper for The northern resistance?
I like to take on multiple projects.
