The team is very eager to know, if you are interested in a pre-release of TIW-Ultimate?
This pre-release we are talking about would be a Battle Beta, similar to the one we already published for our release of version 4.0. You will only be able to play custom battles, BUT with all new factions and their complete unit rosters, new sounds and completely overworked stats according the Real Recruitment and Real Combat guidelines!
So let us know if you are up for it at Total War Center!

Nope, not interested, to be honest. I'd rather wait for the complete "product" instead of seeing the developers release a battle pack and then having to wait more time for the mod (sometimes because the developers try to improve the battle pack release, or even because problems arose with other mods borrowing the released units for their own purposes without asking for proper permission or giving proper credit), which happened/ is happening to some mods out there. But hey, the decision is yours to make.

To create the battle beta is not a big deal at all, since we only have to deactivate the campaign. Balancing and all the other stuff need to be done either way ;)
As for your concerns about any improvements for the battle beta, hell, no! I want to see the mod finished as badly as you do, so no worries about that :)
