I am pleased to show for the first time our first progress video’s for interceptor shield. A lot is not yet finished in game and interface art is still not done for launch code windows and camera tracking bar for selecting of objects currently in flight along with the more advanced options in the SIOP window but we felt the missile firing was impressive enough and also show off the our newly implemented multi-staging rockets.
Multi-staging allows us like in real life to have rockets that each has their own engines activated when the previous one has stopped and ejected. The mintuteman3 missile in the test video is a test temp mesh while we get the final minuteman3 multi-stage missile mesh and silo mesh finished and skinned.
The second video show smoke and flame effect for the ICBM’s we have gotten into the game.
