Join Matt again for another inMomentum developer video log! This week you’ll get another glimpse into exactly how much freedom does the player have thanks to the bounce jumps.

When inMomentum began it's life cycle, it's main aim was to be a game about constant flow and creative movement. This of course is not as easy as it sounds, especially if we wish to keep the gamepaly easily understandable and user friendly.

In this video, Matt talks briefly about how the bounce jumps (wall jumps) work and how can the player use them to pass virtually any obstacle if mastered. It's not as easy as it seems, and due the fact that the surfaces will be different from level to level, it will be a new experience every time a level is loaded.

Enjoy the video and be sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel for weekly updates and more!

Please keep in mind that everything you see in the video is a work in progress. Things are liable and likely to change. If you have any suggestions, criticisms or ideas leave them in the comments and we’ll be sure to look them over. We always appreciate criticism and creativity!

We hope you enjoyed this update. If you would like to follow our progress, you can Watch the project or tune in with one of our community sites. Thank you for your interest and support.

The bounce jump chaining kinda surprised me - dunno why must have overseen/forgot something somewhere . . .

Oh another thing is: here you posted Q3 as the release date, yet you posted Q2 on the youtube page of the vlog3 so im a bit confused which is the appropriate (although i tend to take the worst case scenario)

Forums seem nice (even though i cant shake the feeling, that the notes about gathering cps are kinda meant for dilogus and just happen to be in the inMomentum part of the forum as well due to the forumsoftware) guess i will spend some time there in the near future...

oh and are you thinking about releasing it (and theoretically possible betas) (maybe i mixed something up with dilogus) on desura?

sry to bother you so much keep up the good work (and lets see when you will be slipping a glimpse of the UI into the vlogs)

It's actually something around late Q2 till mid Q3. It's hard to estimate because of the heavy testing phase.

Desura mostly depends on if our project will meet their criteria. If it does, inMomentum will be most likely distributed by Desura.

As for the UI, that will come in soon actually!
