Hello everyone!

I've some great news for you all. After extensive internal testing, tweaking, fiddling and the most enjoyable past time of starting up the same game over and over to get an ability to work (I'm looking at you, Osttruppen Co-ordination...) I have become satisfied enough to release what I have as a 1.0 Release Candidate!

Included so far is:

Repriced/popcap modified units
New damage system
100% reworked veterancy tables
Modification of "Battlegroup" call ins (Instead of two in one go, the player is now given one at it's original 1 unit cost, so that they are usable).
AP/HE round swaps for almost every vehicle (Units that do not have this are ones that simply don't need it in the first place, such as the KV-8 Flamethrower tank.)

Overall this version is probably the most complete version I have ever done to date. For those who have played the CoH1 variant of N44, I highly recommend playing the CoH2 variant. I think players will be quite pleased with the time and effort put into the modification.

Overall your experience should be far more fair and balanced, but two things to note:

1) I didn't touch the AI, they're still the same as they were before and thus to anyone with half a brain are a pushover.

2) I do not recommend using Intel Bulletins. You are free to do so, and they will still work as intended. However, I have not rebalanced these according to the new damage system and this could throw game balance into question. But that is of course your choice.

After "Subscribing" to the modification it will be downloaded for the player, and he/she simply needs to activate it in the custom game/skirmish menu. It is located in the same area as changing Victory Conditions.

Anyways, please give me all the feedback you can possibly muster. I certainly appreciate it and please also understand that I am still limited by what I can and cannot change within the system. This is my attempt to properly balance the current setup but allow for a far more enjoyable and realistic experience.

Great news! I'm gonna try it out as soon as i can.

I have a question. Is there a way to make mods work in SP campaign? That would be cool.

At the moment most of them use separate files, and I don't think I can make them enable before entering campaign mode. I'll ask around and see if it'll be possible in the future however.

By the way, the mod is awesome! New damage system kicks ***. I appreciate the effort you put into this. Your N44 mod is probably the biggest and the best mod for CoH 1. When CoH 2 becomes more moddable, I hope you'll be able to produce another great mod.

Great news! I subscribed to the mod and thought I downloaded something... But it's not under "Tuning" or "Victory Conditions"...

Go into your Workshop screen within CoH2, and then see if it will start downloading from there.

it comes up with unknown error when trying to install when in coh2 as if it doesnt exist

It's a generic steam issue, basically if I update the file or it doesn't work the first time try waiting a bit.

Sadly there isn't a whole lot I can do about it.

I unsubscribed, then resubscribed, and after a restart, the issue was resolved.

Thanks for all the hard work regarding the mod. Looking forward to future updates.
