Now that Rarlocan Main Base is complete, let's talk about what is planned to Version 2.8...

Rarlocan Main Base is completed, the Baerhon's Lair maps will recieve updates to have secrets because currently they have zero count on those, "Baerhon's Realm" where Baerhon will be really located is already something with high priority in my To do List since it's a map specially dedicated as an arena for him, this shouldn't delay much as the music has already been chosen as well and it is giving me the ideas for the battle against him.

Ranerion will be included in the core gameplay for sure, she still need to be animated and coded, Kadrenon may still wait a bit, so don't expect him to appear in Version 2.8 yet.

Vehicles is still with half of the their code renewed and i dunno if i can finish it in time before the release as i stumbled into some weird results, but i hope find the way to fix that in time.

A great feature that will come in Version 2.8 is the ability to control the amount of gore the game will hold at a time alongside the option of reduce the blood effects for performance gain.

And a final footnote: If anyone is interested in know the entire story of the mod and some other explanations as well, i may start post some articles in my profile's blog telling about the subject as i don't plan resurrect the Wikia of the mod so soon.

About that option to control about of gore, will it has permanent gore option? Also I got some bugs, first one with HUD, it takes entire screen, here screenshots: Imgur.com and Imgur.com, this HUD bug I also has with another mod too, and chaingun plays only barrel spin sound while firing, it can play fire sounds for couple of shots and after that plays only barrel spin sound. Besides this both problems game itself work good. About source port I use GZDoom 1.9.1. EDIT: I check latest gzdoom-g2.2pre-1846-gbce9929 version and still has problems with HUD, seems like it don't has support for 16:10 aspect ratio, my monitor is 1680x1050 resolution.

And again about that chaingun, how about make it work like in Quake 2, when weapon start fire on slower rate and when weapon spin up to full fire rate? It will make weapon both more interesting, not like powered up clone of machine gun, and more realistic.

The gore on pre-1.0 version of the mod stood in the floor for minutes but i reduced it to stay for like one seconds to prevent performance drops as all the pieces are models and too many of those at screen will make GZDoom slow.

Your hud you fix by typing "hud_scale 0" in console, seems you are with Scaled HUD turned on which is usefull for original HUD and mods with very low resolution huds.

The Chaingun sound you fix by typing "snd_channels 2048" then "snd_restart" in console, and well if this Chaingun were from Quake 2 i would make it that way, but this one comes from Quake 3 Team Arena and its behavior there is shoot at maximum spinning speed instantly.

Thanks for reply, about hud, I will try that, also I found another way fix huge hud by enabling alternative hud in GZDoom options.
