An Imagination World fan by the name of Batipede has made a great fan trailer for IW; I was impressed and humbled by his work so I'm linking it here for any IW fans or any people who are interested in this to give it a watch - make sure to leave him some kind words as well!
The sequal to IW, the AMC TC, is nearing completion - if you finished IWv2's 4th epsiode than keep a hold of the iw_complete.amctc file as it will unlock some bonuses in AMC TC. Watch this space!
It is a shame you used Half-Life assets.
I would love to have 100% original content, but I'm not a modeller and getting somebody to model all of the things I needed (especially for an old game with only md3 and md2 support) would of either been impossible or delayed the project for even longer. It was already 10 years overdue; I hope people can overlook the content and try and enjoy the game.
Really love the cameo appearance of the Deus Ex sprites.
It's a shame you had to post a comment like that Henley.
Jblade35 worked his *** off on even getting this out and to have comments like that just discourages about 80% of the users on this site.
Not everyone can gather 20+ people to work on a project, this isn't some UDK project we are talking about.
I could safely say that every Duke mod has always borrowed content from other games, be it HL, Quake etc (The only exception maybe Starship Troopers TC)
if i would own Duke 3D, i would definitely play this.
This looks awesome :-)
Plug time! If you did decide to buy Duke 3D for only $5.99 at gog.com, then you would be able to play this awesome TC and tons of other user made levels and mods. I don't think there is another game in existence with so much great free content.
I completely agree with this comment.
IW is standalone, you don't need Duke to play it - but yes, buying Duke3D at some point would be a cool idea as there's a dedicated community still releasing stuff even now.
Awesome trailer! looks like one of the best trailers ever made for a duke TC! This guy really gave IWv2 Justice. (y)
