Right then folks, this is your time to help me out. As here I am putting all these great eve ships into the mod for you guys to wage war with, but who's leading your army? who's the hero who will turn the tide of battle for you? This my friends is a question only you can answer.
As what i'm asking for, is YOU to come up with the heroes to be added to the mod.
So what can you do in terms of coming up with the heroes, well each race is going to have probably 4 heroes, 1 for frigates, 1 for cruisers/battlecruisers and 1 or 2 for the capital ships
So what I am wanting is for you to come with the name of the hero, a short back story for the characters description along with any modifications to his/her ship. The ship the hero flies being rather important. Ideally be good if we have an amarr hero flying an amarr ship, but if you want to with something else then thats fine as theres alot of ships in eve.(Just no titans!)
Now for those of you who have never played eve or dont really know much about it theres a couple of websites that'll help with the idea for ships.

This site gives you the pictures of the ships, so you can look and see which ones look coolest.
The one thing i do want however is the portrait of your hero to be like it appears in Eve-Online.
This is an example of what a portrait looks like in Eve. either just google search one, or if you really want to personalise it then just download the Eve-Online client and try it for free for 14days and then you can have all sorts of fun creating portraits.
I'm looking forward to see what people come up with, i'm hoping i get flooded with entries which if i get too many then it'll be down to the community to vote for their favourites, but if i only get 1 or 2 then you'll be safe in the knowledge yours will be in the mod.

I havnt played eve online in a while because I couldnt afford it anymore but I still have it installed. Sooooo, you can use my portrait from the game if you like it. just tell me where to find the picture in the game files or something and I will try to find a place to upload it. its from the new version of portraits, not the old one like above. He is a gallentian.
But a thing for heroes I do remember a few missions that you had to go kill ships from another faction that had specific names,their own description, and a huge bounty. But thats the only thing I could think of unless I completely make something up. Maybe the people from the pictures of the militia page?
Minor heros:
Squadron Leader (Special fighter squadron)
Wing Commander (Corvette/Destroyer[as it is known in EVE])
Fleet Commander (Battlecruiser)
Then use the names for major heroes. I would have three per faction and make each one special but balanced; each with its own strengths (ie: shielding, weaponry, armor, targeting [for anti-frigate and such]). And then each would have a weakness (ie: frigate based attacks, rocket based attacks [which I would assume transverse shields], and/or other capitol ships). This is just my two cents, PM me if you are looking for more things that may be helpful, I don't want to list them here. Thanks for hearing me.
Ty_Rage if you have ideas for the major hero's and want to create the hero's you think would be good then feel free, all i ask is for a potrait name and their ship and abilites :)
I would suggest to use heroes known from the books and backgroundstory. Like Jamyl Sarum, the Empress of the Amarr.

Its a time since i read the book about her but you could give her a Amarr Abaddon BS, with a Terran Superweapon ability and a bonus for allied shipps in battle. As weak spot she could be very expensive.
A have no picture for her but you could use the one from the eve-wiki.
I suggest Dagan, since he's a major part nowadays... also I'd suggest to take the "Commanders" you can choose from when taking Dagan on.
I suggest Chribba as a Capital hero, since he owns his veldfleet of ore mining capital ships, maybe have him be a capital ship hero that boosts resource collection?
We need The Mittani to be a hero. He can be Minmatar and have an ability that instantly calls a swarm of 100 Maelstroms wherever he is.
i'm going to look into all the characters you've mentioned then at Eve wiki and see who's best to use for each one :) and Jisho, i think 100 maelstroms might be a bit overkill ;)
