At this year's electronics show in Las Vegas which will be held this week, PC maker Xi3 unveiled a new machine codenamed Piston, developed in collaboration with Valve.

Piston is an upgradeable mini-PC developed in partnership with Valve, writes website Polygon. The plan is for it to be used with the TV in the living room, and Steam is naturally integrated in the console, when the Big Picture Mode is designed to be used on TV screens.
The machine is still under development, so specifications and other information about the insides are not made public yet. Polygon Demo Unit has looked at the CES trade show features eight USB ports, four eSATAp ports, two Mini DisplayPort ports, an HDMI out, optical audio out, analog audio in and out, and the network port.
