For first I want to say thanks to that all almost 300 people, who downloaded version 1.0 of this mod available to download for few months, that causes crash at the game start and could not post any short comment about that. I found this fatal bug myself when I wanted to start new career.
Found and fix this bug took me about 10 minutes.

At the begining race with Formula Jedi, get sponzors, then sell Jedi and buy Jupiter, get another sponzors, then sell Jupiter and get money for some multievent useable car rush for any of level 2 license. Hire teammate -> double sponzor money
I wanted to try the mod but the first requirement is just way too high. 1 mil +.... I am making 15k+- per race. I need to win 80 (or so) races until I will be able to make my own team. Yeah no...
If you aren't race in pro mode and high difficulties that is truly long.
If this start is long for you, unfortunately life career isn't for you.
I'm personally were very sad on that short races, where you started at the end of starting grid and your biggest opponents on first. Events had two races and you overtake all opponents in the first two turns.
After 3 seasons you had pro license, best and most expensive car and this is fun? Not for me.
Yes this start is longer, but there're many different races and even during career itself you'll need drivers offers to get money during selling on eBay.
New version coming up soon, I'll decrease starting money need, but slightly!
Tak snad to nebude ptákovina.:-)
Někdy v budoucnu to zkusím.
Vyzkoušej a uvidíš.
that is indeed no fun, when you have to win so many
races before you can build a team.

Uhm, I don't know if this is mod related or allready in vanilla GRID, but the AI sometimes behaves strage. They crash, spin around, stop in a second, an drive onward like nothing has happend at all.
And did you add a rubberband-AI? Because it's impossible now to keep ahead of the enemy racers, as they can keep up with you, regardless of your driving skill or chosen difficulty. And they sometimes get a hefty speed bonus out of nowhere, passing you even if you drove "perfect".
It sounds strange.
I remember I had this AI bugs during testing demolition derby with 25 cars per race but never in other cases. You're first who reported this bug.
Had you patched game before aplicating of this mod?
Yea, game is patched to 1.3. I only saw this a few times (with around 40h ingame time) and its not that gamebraking. Happend in different race modes. But as I don't see most of the crashes behind me it does not bother me that much. And as long as nobody else got this, it might be something on my end or just random AI fails. ;)
And after you get used to the new AI behavior (slipstreaming seems to be way more effective for them now) its actually a nice and hard mod for GRID.
So thanks for sharing!
Little tip, if it feels like they are getting a speed boost it's because they are, you have one too! There is a 'Secret' button they don't tell you about by default on 'B', it gives you a temporary small speed boost to help when overtaking or countering, you definitely notice it though ;) Can be rebound too in the options menu under the 'Speed Boost' key. I have mine on 'W' since I use 'A,S,D' to look around and back in the cockpit. Hope this helps and enjoy racing ;)
