Yeah I am about to move my stuff over to gameshout.net IRC net work. It’s a pain in the butt when the servers are not working, they don’t let you know what’s going on before hand, and the support will not say anything.
Thanks for the warning gamesNET

no it does you have to change the auth server you use, and also change the preform.ini file, and you have to and a new server to the long list of IRC servers out there. a pain in the but.
They did warn.... 15 minutes before.
Timmay, you don't have to change anything. All the old server domains still connect to the network, nothing at all needs to be changed. If you did, you wasted your time. It really makes no difference at all to how you run your channels, I use GamesNET (*-Surge) myself and I haven't changed anything in a year, it still works perfectly.

The nick conflicts did occur, yes, but it's not that big of a deal. Many of us have multiple aliases that we spread out over the net, it's no big deal to swap to another one if need be.
I had to change the authserv, and also if you don’t know this the reason they changed the name, is because the owner sued the guys who stole the domain from him. And he won and got it back. So if you think you’re not going to have to change it once the domain transfer happens, well good luck. :) But go to www.gamesnet.net to see the settlement papers on this.
You are incorrect, Donald has NOT won the lawsuit in anyway. The domain was returned to him as a part of the settlement agreement, which has nothing to do with the outcome of the lawsuit itself
That is true settlement does not mean anyone WON it. :) but you have to agree he got a good deal out of it.
