After PAX we recorded a gameplay video from the alpha we wanted to share with you!

Posted by dCepT on Oct 1st, 2013

We figured it was about time we showed some gameplay from Festival of Magic that isn't cut up and tampered with like with the trailer from a while back. There is some new stuff in there that wasn't in the trailer either, so we hope you guys enjoy!

And again, if you want to sign up for our beta, feel free to do so here: Fomgame.com

The video shows a chronological playthrough of the alpha, we have however edited it to be shorter :)

Hummm ...

Terrific!
I love all visuals, lightings, ambiances ...
This FF-like game seems to be a great "success" (concerning the dev'!).
Supa work!

Wow! Awesome to hear that kind of feedback! Thank you so much! Yeah, we're happy about what we've achieved whithin the timeframe and concerning the team size. We're working on new features, areas, monsters and NPC's these days!

Well,
It's not so hard to tell this, 'cause it's bad not to tell the truth !(^ _ ^ )
But, there's often a but!, I only gave my opinion on general positive points ... and Actually I'd like to share with you an impression about one of the ingame music:
The battle track (just my opinion!) could be more efficient or dynamic.
(I find it pretty "flat").
I'll see more something link this:
Soundcloud.com
Not because I composed it, but because it's a little more thrilling for battle's moment. (Although the style_too much acoutic instruments_of this track wouldn't suit)

Once again, and that's what have to be kept in mind:
Terrific work!

PAX was pretty awesome! We brought a playable alpha, so we had players actually playing our game for the first time! Day one was a pretty nervous experience, but we got so great feedback from everyone who tried it! Very cool to get to see people play it and observe their reactions!
