Rather than posting a news article every time we want your opinion and ideas for a single gameplay aspect, I made a thread about several of them. Please give it a look.
Gameplay Thread
We want to make sure Dark Skies feels like a Half-Life game in as many aspects as possible. The gameplay is just one of them and while we want Half-Lifey gameplay to get the Half-Lifey feel, we don't want to stick to just old Half-Life gameplay that's been used in almost every other mod out there.

Add visible torso and legs, like in dar messiah of might of magic.
That would be cool and more realistic.
I think that's called full body awareness, and I would like to see that. That's not really a gameplay feature, rather just a feature.
Always running?
Once i read in an Half Life book that Valve wanted to make possible that enemies could make Freeman's glasses slip away, making the vision blurry for a while. You could use that idea in a few scripted sequences.

It sounds very promising and I will gladly help in any way I can like supply models and giving ideas.
New zombies enemies and combine enemies sounds like a good idea. On the Garry's mod steam workshop there are plenty of costume models that you could use.
by supply models do you mean your a modeler
Yes. I am aware of those models on the Gmod workshop. While I like them, we will make our own with some little details that make them ours. As for new zombies, I don't think there will be any new kinds added, but there will be more variety in the way they look, move and sound. There will be plenty of new combine enemies.

I am not exactly a modeller, although I am trying to teach my self to do all sorts of things from the source developer site, including level design, sound design and modelling with softimage mod tool 7.5. I can still try to help you guys out. I also know a lot of the HL2 original story.
