Post news Report content RSS feed Italian girls LOVE ORION: Prelude!

We didn't think this was true, but Paolo and Oliver, our new italian localization folks, credited towards games like Zeno Clash and The Ball have insisted that Italian models are loving ORION - we are here to prove it - and why you should too!

Another day - another awesome update! We are back with tons to talk about and even more to give away. We are having tons of foriegn love for ORION and we just had to share it with you.

It's official - the Italians love us. We have two humbled Italian gentlemen that work around the clock with us - Paolo Giaiero and Oliver D'adda. You may recognize these names as they have done tons of work before coming on board with us - including work on Zeno Clash and The Ball. They are acting as our localization group for those regions and have been doing some incredible work, including the voice acting for the characters in ORION: Prelude and helping spread our word to some Italian press out t here.

They have also proven to me that Italian girls LOVE ORION. I am not kidding. They sent me this picture of this Italian model playing some Prelude over at there office. I personally believe that if Italian women love ORION - then you should to. And if you want to support this cause, you can do so by heading to our KickStarter page - and you also will get a chance to play ORION: Prelude early.

We will also be hosting matches down the road of both "Play With Devs" and "Play With Chicks". If you support this - then we simply ask you to prove it!

To continue all of the Italian love that is floating around ORION: Prelude, Multiplayer. It, one of Italy's largest gaming websites has just done a preview of the game. We encourage all fans to check it out (and turn on there translators) and gander at some exclusive media from the pre-alpha game build:

Another day, another music track! We are back with yet another incredible free digital music track created by none other than Marcus Zuhr himself. This is the same track that was used in the Altair Reveal video and is called "Beneath The Surface".

Also make sure to download the previously released track, "Far From Home" which made its official debut in the Carrier Reveal trailer. Both are available for download by clicking the images below:

We reached 100% funding earlier this week. We couldn't be happier and more thrilled for all of the support and contributions.

We are currently trying to spread the word that these are limited-time rewards. If you want access to any of this content, make sure to donate now! We are hoping to reach a bit higher than our pledged amount to cover all of the costs and overheads, which include:

  • Securing 20 developers
  • Preparation & Content for GDC
  • Gift package creation
  • Polishing the Multiplayer Beta

We have some of the coolest rewards on the face of KickStarter - so make sure to grab them now! This includes

  • Custom Armors
  • Custom Weapons
  • In-Game Icons
  • Access to tons of digital content and soundtracks
  • Achievements being named after you
  • Being made into a video game character

We encourage any fans and supporters to help spread our word. It is hard for us to reach all corners of the internet and we can only do so with YOUR help!

Learn 2 English, Trolley is what you push items like shopping or boxes/stock with.

"A shopping cart (trolley, carriage, buggy or wagon) is a cart supplied by a shop, especially supermarkets, for use by customers inside the shop for transport of merchandise to the check-out counter during shopping. Customers can then also use the cart to transport their purchased goods to their cars.

In some places, customers are allowed to leave the carts in the parking lot, and store personnel will return the carts to the storage area. In most European premises however, coin (or token) operated locking mechanisms are provided to encourage shoppers to return the carts to the correct location after use."

Further proving the point that people from WNx are morons.

This can be the best idea for new generation fps. But JETPACKS???
What the hell is an fps with JETPACKS??? Please can you be more realistic?
I want to feel fear in an FPS. If i can fly dinosaurs can do nothing to me.
This game will be a disaster with birdsmans. I hope someone will put dinosaurs in an fps without jetpacks.
Sorry for my english, i'm from Italy.

Hey Krevos,

We appreciate your input - however, we want to illustrate to you that jetpacks aren't for every class in the game - they are limited to the 'Assault' class.

The 'Recon' and 'Support' class have different abilities.

Each "Ability" has both pros and cons towards the actual game, the mechanics and towards dinosaurs.

Jetpacks affect all dinosaurs - especially the T-Rex. We heavily recommended that you DO NOT jetpack near a T-Rex as it will almost always be an instant death. While T-Rexes are nearly blind by default - but have incredibly acute hearing. When a jetpack ignites, the combination of the blue flare mixed with the high-pitch thrust make the T-Rex get instant-raged and they can easily spot you mixed with the increased hearing and the visual of the blue glow.

Also, if you are jetpacking high up in the sky, it is a very common thing for a Pteranodon to swoop you out of the sky and kill you.

All items in the game have this sort of system that allow it to benefit the player but also create a consequence where they will be thinking twice before using it.

Hope that helped clear a few things up :)
