Finally someone is doing the Krayt Gunship! Also do you have a model of the Raven's Claw? In the last version it was just the Moldy Crow model. I have a Raven's Claw model, it just has a bad texture. I found it on filefront, converted it to ALO format, but messed up with the textures and muzzleflashes.

well it is interesting list (but this list is more for galactic civil war not post GCW) and I would add some ships:

NEW REPUBLIC - CC-9600 frigate, Quasar bulk cruiser, Dreadnaught heavy cruiser, Recusant light destroyer, Providence destroyer, Lucrehulk destroyer, Bothan Assault Cruisers,

MANDALORIANS - Lucrehulk destroyer,

How I know rebels/new republic, hutts, corporate and maybe mandalorians they are all used old droid ships so without them any galactic civil war and post galactic civil wars is not complete.
How I understand your mod was for post endor battle period.
There should be more corellian ships.

Yes, droid ships were still used but none were being actively produced. They were relics by this time, used when needed but not considered the core or backbone of any one fleet. Plus, I hate the new movies. I included some stuff from them to try and appease those who like them but this is not a Clone Wars mod...and every faction is not going to have CIS or Clone ships...

well you can limit numbers of old ships maybe on 3 to 5 per faction so with this those ships would not be backbone of fleet and you can put that droid ships can be buiod on only several planets (mustafar, geonozis, hypori, Mon Calamari)

New Republic: MC80 Liberty (Wingless and Wing), MC80b, MC90, Corona Frigate, Nebula SD, Endurance Fleet Carrier, Dreadnought(Katana Type), Bothan Assualt Cruiser, Quasar-fire Carrier, CC-9600, CC-7700, Emancipator SD(Hero), Liberator SD(Hero), Ackbar's flagships(any of those)

Imperial Remnant:ISD 1&2, Praetor II, Bellator Dreadnought(In Limited Numbers), Executor(Limited numbers), VSD I, Venator SD, Carrack Cruiser,Vindicator Heavy Cruiser

CSA: Invincible Battleship, Recusant Destroyer, Lucrehulks, Providence Carrier/Destroyer, Venator SD, VSD 1, Space ARC Cruiser

Black Sun: Aggressor SD, Dreadnoughts

Since the mod is Post-Endor and to fight against Imperial Remnant, I believe a more modern navy is needed to counter so many threats, especially for the 3 mains, the NR, IR, and the Mandos...In the meantime, I agree with Vlado's suggestions as well and I think adding the above in future versions should be made possible :)

This is post Endor but only by 20 years at most! Most of the fancy, "modern" ships you're talking about didn't roll around into mass production until just prior to the Yuuzhan Hong war. Plus, as a general rule for Mandalorians...their tech is based on some really ancient stuff. its still the best their is but it looks and feels old.

Well, I agree that the starships should fit in era, but I believe that those I suggested are design during the whole GCW,like MC80s in 0-3 ABY, MC90 in 10ABY, Corona Frigate in 7-8 ABY, Nebula SD in 16ABY...Also, those IR starships mentioned above are actually products from the pre-Endor and even in Clone Wars like Venator SD and they are still in active service in different Imperial faction navies...But still, the choice is yours and you can think about that when adding them into NR,IR...For the Hutts, CSA, Mandos, they should fit in some old toys from the post...
Btw, MC40 is a Frigate or a cruiser....not a corvette...

I agree with everything you are saying. Many Clone Wars-era ships were still in active service with the IR and other major factions, well after Endor.

I guess my logic is that I wanted the smaller, militia-type factions such as the Hutts, to have the feel of a cobbled-together, militia-style navy. To me, that was most easily and clearly achieved by providing them a set of obviously older ships that were not seen anywhere else (to really emphasize that feeling of obsolescence).

If I were to give every faction a Venator (for example) and then you see a Venator in a Hutt navy, it diminishes that feeling of fighting a ragtag band of mercenaries and creates the impression that the Hutts are really just another military power that's on par with the "high-rollers" of the universe.

So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view. ;)

I agree what u have said, or u may create different version of Venator or other version of old-but-still-usable starships for different faction?
I believe you may not choose too many of them, but some of them should be considered to be suitable.Choice is yours...:)
Btw, I think u can add more tanks or walker for each main factions...

Admiral Ackbar. How come u did not add him to the hero unit as he took a very important role during the whole Galactic Civil War...
For the Imperials, the Executor SSD Reaper and Knight Hammer should be included as they are part of Daala's Campaign and Peallion's campaign during 10s ABY...
Despite the above heroes, ISD I&II, Venator SD (which used as Heavy Frigate and Carrier), New Class Warships (except MC90) should be added as they also begin to use or commonly used by both IR and NR forces...

Ackbar was pretty much retired by 24 ABY, which is when the mod takes place.

I detest mods with "super ships." They are too big for EaW maps (when made to scale anyway...which it would be if it were in my mod) and they really wreak havoc with balance. They're just awkward in this game; I don't like them.

The "New Class Warships" were rolled out into active service between 24-26 ABY (just after the mod) which was the outbreak of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. At best, there would be prototype ships only but nothing that's in full production.

As stated before, the Venator was retired by this time. This is not a Clone Wars mod.

I wouldnt add too many...if he gives us the quality we're used to, we should be happy. Hes on his own so the workload would increase exponentially. Besides how many of those units would you really use? Variety is nice but imo strategic importance is king.

Add to that the fact that i prefer to see the prequals and sequals seperate... If you want a post clone-wars vibe like the original movies, then don't include the ships that are based of the (******) prequels.. just my two cents.

and rehashing clone wars era models is done in most mods i know...

I just kinda glanced through the post since I am a bit busy, but I saw what you said about there being cloud cars on the side of New Republic on Bespin.

Will you also have infantry like Bespin cops, and would it be possible to have some sort of 'indigenous hero' like Lobot along with them?

Yes, yes, and yes. Other examples would be Wookies on planet Kashyyyk, with Tarfful as a "mini-hero" or something that spawns with all other indigenous Wookies but will not respawn if killed.

I can't think of one either... Bear in mind though that these 'mini heroes' won't be full-on, boss battle, tough guys... At most, they will have custom artwork (model/texture) and an "inspire" ability that will boost the atk/def power of indigenous units near them.

I was also toying with the idea of having the actual faction heroes grant buffs to the indigenous people in certain scenarios. To use the Wookies again... Let's say you are battling on Kashyyyk and you decide to deploy the Han/Chewbacca team... Well then all Wookies in a specific radius to Chewie would have like an increased fire-rate or damage output or something. Is that cool or would it be OP?

Mandalorian Protectors were around long before Ms Traviss took to writing about them ;) However, she did contribute to their legacy in a big way; that's for sure. In a mod about Mandalorians, how could they not be included?

Idk...the MC 90 played a big role in the NR for many years, it really isnt that old either. Its far more newer and advanced compared to the MC80 line.

Yeah, that would be the one ship I'd consider adding to the list. However, the NR already has their capital "powerhouse" unit in the CD-10. Supplying them with another buffed capital ship might be OP.

Plus, the MC80's did serve in the NR clear until the Legacy-era and the distinct shape of the Liberty-type is just more recognizable as a Star Wars unit.

Everybody has seen lightsabers over and over or the X-wing, etc. The problem, I think, is that your preference is just for the MC90 over the MC80; which is fine.

I'll consider replacing the MC80 with the 90... No promises.

Very reasonable given the time periods that you stated. I hate to suggest adding something because I know how annoying it can be when everyone does that, but I do think the MC90 would make a good addition--or some other vessel from the Modernization program, seeing that it was completed by 20 ABY. Perhaps as an example, you could even make it so for the first 2 or 3 tech levels the NR has the MC80, and then it becomes replaced by the MC90 at the higher levels, avoiding an overload of units.
Also, are the IDS models the Mk. I or II? The Mk II could provide a buff against a strong MC90. Either way, I trust that what you decide on will be great.
