Hello fellow roamers of the grassy plains. All of us working on Stone Rage have a major announcement to make, and that is that Stone Rage will now be free to play! That's right: free to play. We want every gamer to have an opportunity to try our game without the worry of emptying their wallets to play it. The Stone Rage team knows that games can be expensive; so we are bringing the look and feel of a big game release, with a zero dollar price tag.

Topic today: Free to play

Hello fellow roamers of the grassy plains. All of us working on Stone Rage have a major announcement to make, and that is that Stone Rage will now be free to play! That's right: free to play. We want every gamer to have an opportunity to try our game without the worry of emptying their wallets to play it. The Stone Rage team knows that games can be expensive; so we are bringing the look and feel of a big game release, with a zero dollar price tag. We are also making the game non pay-to-win (in-game monetization will be available). That means that it is up to the player's skill, and play time to make their character stronger and their overall playability better; so be prepared to bring your sharpest wits and quickest reflexes to the battle grounds. Come ready to leave your mark on the rock and stone of the battlefield, and know that whilst the game is free; victory can cost you dearly.

Today we are showcasing the female archer character. As you can see she is unarmed at the moment, and it will require the player to hone their skills with this versatile character to earn new weapons and tools to use on the battle field. The female archer promises to be one of the more popular characters among players and has much potential to be a major threat on the killing grounds.

Thank you for checking out this latest update; be sure to stay tuned for more updates on Stone Rage happenings in the near future. Also, remember to vote for Stone Rage for the Indie of the Year Award 2012 and help us to become one of the most anticipated games of this coming year!

The only thing you should have the option to buy is visual stuff, nothing that modifies skills or abilities

Thank you for your comment, we are going to monetize carefully. It won't be a pay2win game ! We dislike this concept and we want to have players on servers who actually love the game. Stay tuned :)

Just a quick question that should probably be posted somewhere else: What are you planning to do to limit the hacking potential? Many a great game is ruined by a few members of the community exploiting and hacking the game, removing the fun and t=in effect the life of a game.
