You can remove all the files in Steam excepted Steam.exe, userdata and steamapps, then launch the EXE: Steam will re-download what it needs :)

But of course not sourcemods folder, lol! because that would have been a disaster.
userdata contains screenshots and sometimes save games for the Cloud, not a lot of people think about including it in the folders to keep too ^^' Hope it will help :)
