We are in desperate need of more servers. As we hoped and expected, Dystopia is being downloaded by a horde of gamers looking for a fresh and exciting new game to play. All we need now is enough servers to accommodate them all. If you've got a server running a HL2MP, CSS or other SourceMod that isn't seeing a lot of action; please download the server package and run up a server:

From the little I played, I didn't quite understand the gameplay. I will have a second, longer, game when there are servers with a <300 ping.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun. It took me 30 minutes before i started to understand the goals, and then 20 minutes later I was giving commands (which were of course ignored) to my team.

Effects are nice so are the models and textures but its very complicated for my liking.
Once you know what to do.. it becomes very fun! Especaily if you can work as a team.

Awesome mod man. Except the newbs dunno how to hack cyberspace...hitting somone in cyberspace is really hard and the air doors are instant kill. Everything eles is just fine and I LOVE THE KATANA!!!
yeah fun stuff the katana is pretty cool you can block n stuff. Also yeah when you know what to do the mod is pretty fun you get a sense of team work since everyone is working together whether they realize it or not.
They really really really need to do something about those global chat commands, limit them more from flooding or remove them alltogether, that gets really irritating after a while :)
Otherwise, fun game!

This is amazing. I agree with the others: a bit tough starting out, but when you get the hang of it - it's not that difficult :D. Dys now, and DoD:S on the 26th - I love September :)

this mod is awesome, i played it this morning and i'm hooked. the hacking is just like the movie johny mnumonic. fun movie to make fun of Keanu Reeves terrible acting.
From what i'm hearing, people should read a guide or faq or something before they play. Sounds great though, I can't wait to get my gaming computer up and running... must..play...dystopia... <_<
dassbaba, people should probably read this: Dystopia-game.com before they play. Helps explain some of the key aspect of Dystopia.
The problem is that if you ever have any manual for anything, 90% of people are not gonna read it. And if you're playing with people who don't know what they're doing, the mod gets way less fun. But, sometimes you get a situation where both teams know what they're doing, and the mod gets really friggin fun.
I would have to say this was well put together GREAT JOB. I personally love it. I think you should make it so when you are done installing it should tell folks to read the manual right away. Also once you learn what the hell is going on it is awsome
the one thing i love is you can't rambo. You ahve to play as a team with the right amount of heavies/med/lights and attack as a group.

This is such great fun. Its to bad I have to play on the lowest settings possible so that my video card will not overheat... :\ (I'm saving for a new one...!)

Ive been looking forward to the demo release since I found out about dystopia.
It seems you guys did a very professional job and its payed off, the game is absolutely great.
It did take a while to understand it, but thats what you get for going into a new game and not even looking at the player guide! =)
Hopefully we will see some more competitive matches once most players work out what they are doing.
Incredibly fun and gives you a variety of things to do for your team. Brilliant first map, and I look forward to more official maps.
