I never liked HL, so Im not waiting for HL2, but I saw some screenies from Doom 3 and it caught my attention.
Probably gonna be like Unreal 1 - a dark atmosphere, where monsters appear from everywhere and you piss yourself with that... I hope they use nice musics at the right time as well. Unreal was just perfect for that.

How can you talk about dark atmosphere with Unrael? Unreal1 had one perhaps but Id !!!!
I adore Id for what theyve done: Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein all of them games with a unique dark and
grown up style compared to the kiddy like Unreal Flower Power Tournament 2004.
Comon how can you compare Quake with Unreal? Or Doom with Unreal? Ill be willing to wait for Quake4 instead of playing the new Unreal Games with nothing of what I would call style and tradition. Nothing makes sense the whole envirounment looks like someone toyed around with style elements instead of having a clear plan.
Quake and Doom is HELL :)
