Digmaan: The Aftermath is a sequel from the game Digmaan which gain fame not because of it's graphics but because of it's difficulty and game play. RWSB Games is now proud to announce that the First ever demo is now out and it's on IndieDB and ModDB. You can even check out our website if you will have a hard time finding the demo (www.rwsbgames.com). The demo will display it's improved graphic quality, lighting, and game play. Key features are hit detection of enemies, puzzle levels and Brute monsters that cannot be killed, meaning, you just need to outrun it until you solve the current level and move to the next level. Digmaan: The Aftermath will contain a 25 level single player story game and a multi player. Both will be included in the package. However the price was still undecided, but don't worry much because it will not be expensive. Stay updated and let's wait for the release of Digmaan: The Aftermath.

Mkilbride is right about it, maybe we should sell it on a fixed price and if no one will really buy, then we will reduce the price, but we will not put it's price to a high one like the previous posts think that it will be 9.99? No, it will be more lesser. We know that it's heard to earn money and we do not want to rip people off their money. We do it the reasonable way, that everyone will agree and will be happy.

It doesn't matter anyway, I am not forcing you to buy it nor telling you to buy it, gamers may buy it if they feel they like it and just want to have some fun, and they may not so as they please, it doesn't matter. I did not even put up a price how would you know I will sell it for $9? Well mate, it's not $9. And it will not even be higher than 9. I guess it doesn't matter here how we made the game or not, what important is that we made games for people who love to play games no matter what. Indie devs or AAA devs, it doesn't matter, we both make games, although their budget is higher were still the same, we make games, no matter what game play, difficulty, graphic quality, no matter what, it will all still fall in one hell of a word "games". Maybe us developers are very critical on choosing what games we play or what the game would look like, but not in the eyes of others. Not all people seek how it was made or how it will look like, for them it's a game. If your thinking about the engine, then so what? It's not with the engine mate. Even if I use AAA engines, nor the crapiest engine, I will still make it good. Cause I work and create games with heart. This is my passion. Effectiveness, efficiency, capability and commitment,are my key to success. In the eyes of others my game may not be good or maybe a great one, but in my own eyes I know my game is good and I believe in my game and my skills. To cut it short: How he made it doesnt matter at all. Yes, it`s FPSC, yes he`s using stock stuff only, but in the end it only matters how the game is. In this case you would have to ban allmost all Iphone 2D Games which consist in their core of 1 (!) huge Photoshop file with some hundred layers and a few lines of code. There is nothing more in most of them and still they are popular and well-selling...
I also always shake my head when Indies come along with the argument "Yeah, the game is not that good, but you have to keep in mind it was done by ONE person alone".
Sorry, but that won`t make the game better. On the other hand, if Digmaan is great it really doesn`t matter if it was klicked together with simplest means within a few weeks.

I wanted to sell my first FPSC-made game for € 9,90. The publisher raised it to 19,90 - and in Germany the distributor to 29,90. This was NUTS and still it sold well. (Not that I`ve seen any money from that but the publisher made a good deal on my back).

Don't worry I am not really upset, I just want to express my feelings as much as you do when writing down posts to this thread, this is a public thread so anyone has the right to voice out what they feel they wanna write. We have the freedom of expression and speech therefore don't worry, promise I am not really upset. Maybe it just made me sick and tired of what other people think of the engine we are using, but promise am not upset, am used to that. The post I have there is not only for you, but for all the people who can't understand what game making is all about. Thanks for your suggestions about the pricing, actually I might go with one of your suggestion above. It's not a bad price.
