The Digital Paintball team has decided that its time to reveal the maps that are going to be featured in our next release, 1.5. Digital Paintball 1.5 will include a host of new features, not to mention new and updated maps, models, and code. The marker selection system will be completely changed, to reflect user suggestions, and many, many bugs will be fixed.

For now I suppose you will have to live with a taste of whats to come, as I have uploaded nearly ten megabytes worth of images to our maps section, under media. It now contains two screenshots of every single map that will be in 1.5, all 35 of them. Click Digitalpaintball.net to take a look at some of our mapping team`s latest and greatest, as well as updated shots FROM previous maps.

I was wanting to start mapping for Digital Paintball, But I dont know where to start or where to get textures. I was wondering if you guys at DBP could send me a copy of the program that you use to make maps. I was also wondering if you guys could send me some textures to work with. preffereably textures for the inflateble things from the maps like x_ball_orange and stuff. Thanks :D
