We are not stopping the mod permanently. Just temporarily.

Dearest fans!

First, let me thank you for your patience. As a community, you have had to deal with long gaps between updates, the slow speed of our development, and of course the unprofessional nature of our developer team. I will get to the point quickly, since I know this isn't the news you want to hear, but I want to clear up a few things as development progresses.

As you may have deduced/read/heard, development has been slowed recently. This is true for several reasons. Firstly, my external hard drive, on which most of my work (both mod related and unrelated) is stored has stopped responding. I have begun the process of recovery, but I cannot guarantee that my device will work again. Secondly, I will be moving this week to begin my first semester at university, and as such I have been preparing to go to school as a freshman at university.

Now, this does not mean that the mod is dead; should my hard drive not recover, only about a month's work of work will be lost. This does mean, however, that updates will be out less often, and you should not expect an update any time soon. This is the most depressing to myself personally, as in all honesty, I was hoping to release the mod this December. I know now that this will not be the case, but I say again, the mod is not dead. Our team is still working hard.

We appreciate your understanding and sincerely hope that this inconvenience does not dampen the spirit of our fans. To show our commitment to the development of the mod, I would like to promise that the next update, we will show, specifically (no ambiguities), the zombie faction in all of its glory, as we have developed it thus far. Sound like a deal?

As always, we look forwards to better news and appreciate your patience,

the ZM Dev Team

Just a theory:the mod should be a little more real:dead bodies of cops, hazmat personnel, soldiers and civilians, more town and less country side and fallen outposts with equipment made to countain the infection and hazmat trailers

This truly is a zombie mod. XD

1. Progress need to be recovered (back from death)
2. The mod is now stopped or at a point where it is unsure if it is dead or not (of course it isn't) so it has to be undead like a zombie
3. It is slow but it getting closer and closer to release like a slow zombie horde

So I hope that this thing will get finished!
(Cold War Crisis for CnC Generals ZH took six years, so don't stress yourself)

But please give a sign of live at least once a moth so we know you are still there... :)

Keepe on tracking! BRAINS!

ah, first year of university... I did not stop modding while I was a student. It was the period of my life where I did most of my modding stuff. Enjoy this blissful period before you enter active life.
Well, I am a physicist now and I don't really have any complaint with job :p

That is unfortunate, I just bought Opposing Fronts for the sole purpose of using this mod. On the positive side, ZombieMod looks good enough to be worth any wait. I shall be waiting patiently indeed.

I like this mod but as there are many concepts yet to be developed we must maturely assume that it still will be some time until this comes out. But despite long gaps at least they are doing their best to update as regularly as possible
