Demo Countdown! news

We know we said no more updates, but we cant be silent for a month or two without fans assuming we all died or were in car accidents. First things first. We have two new heroes to the lineup at the behest of our fans (see we do listen). First up is Cad Bane will be a heor for the CIS, finally you guessed it. Ashoka Tano will be joining the Republic Lineup. Now moving along we are happy to report that the demo is just about ready. It is in the polishing stage, and sadly this is taking a bit longer than any of us anticipated.. There have been some technical glitches here and there, lost files, missing files, bad models, missing polys, game crashes, and we wont bore you with all the details. For many of you who are asking about the final release of the mod its progressing nicely. So whats left you ask, well we feel its no big deal to share. We have a handful of models to rig, and some character SFX to finish. There are about 10 land maps for the GC that need to be finished and our mappers are hard at work. So what does this mean? It means we are on target for our internal release goals. We know many of you are excited about this mod, and sometimes that excitement translates into frustration with the lack of updates. However, we are doing our best to get something to you that you can play with. We assure you despite many MANY broken promises a demo IS coming VERY soon. In fact its just around the corner. So be patient, its COMING. As for staff.. we are all sad that Bryant has vanished, but Bex and I are still here and busting our tushies off. We have some new dedicated staff as well and some ex-staff have also expressed a possible willingness to help us in the final push. As many of you can see on the eeaw forums, we are indeed in the final stages of production here. We are not satisfied with mediocrity. We will not stop until each units is perfected to the best of our abilities. You guys deserve nothing less. We assure the wait will not be in the vain. To give you a special peek at what we are working we are unveiling a new montage, we will be doing each week. Each montage will feature scenes from a specific world. These shots are done to showcase the maps, props, effects, models, etc that we are putting into each world. We meant what we said about bringing planets and cities to life. Now we dont want to give away the farm yet, these will give you a taste of whats to come. So with no further ado once so ever we present our first World Montage. First up....
